SUPERSHIELD MULTISEAL ADMIXPLUS is a next-generation liquid admixture that combines self- healing multifunctional SHIELD® Crystals with a hydrophobic pore-lining system, providing multi-action protection for concrete under extreme environmental conditions. When added to the mix, it initiates a dynamic multi-action process in which multifunctional SHIELD Crystals penetrate the concrete matrix, sealing pores and microcracks through continuous crystallization, while the hydrophobic barrier lines the pore structure to actively repel water and moisture. This multi-action system ensures long-term impermeability and resilience, even in aggressive wet– dry cycles, freeze–thaw conditions, and chloride- or chemical-rich environments. During casting and curing, the technology regulates hydration and balances heat generation, preventing shrinkage and thermal cracking. As the concrete matures, SHIELD Crystals continue to adapt and grow, blocking water ingress, resisting chemical attack, and autonomously sealing microcracks when exposed to moisture. The hydrophobic lining further enhances durability by reducing water absorption, limiting chemical ingress, and providing permanent hydrophobic and icephobic protection.
